Meet Kirra.

I believe therapy should be a place where you can be completely honest - even about the messy, confusing, or uncomfortable parts of your life.

Warm support, honest feedback, and practical tools for change.

Hi, I’m Kirra.

I believe therapy should be a place where you can feel genuinely understood while also being challenged to grow. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what is really going on — not just the polished version, but the messy, confusing, and uncomfortable parts too.

I will meet you with compassion, but I will not just nod along. I ask thoughtful questions, notice patterns you may not see yet, and help you move toward meaningful change.

I work with capable people who feel stuck.

Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who still find themselves stuck in cycles of overthinking, people-pleasing, self-doubt, perfectionism, or feeling like they always have to prove themselves.

I work with adults and teens navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent clients, young adults, college-aged clients, and people who want to feel more comfortable with their quirks.

Together, we will explore where your patterns came from, whether they are still serving you, and what healthier ways of responding could look like.

Insight matters — but it is not the whole story.

My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and down-to-earth. I incorporate EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and practical interventions to help clients heal from past experiences while creating lasting change in the present.

I believe insight is important, but insight without action only gets you so far. Therapy should help you not only understand yourself better, but also live differently.

Therapy does not have to feel heavy all the time.

Healing often involves difficult conversations, but that does not mean therapy has to feel heavy every minute. Humor has a way of helping us stay grounded, gain perspective, and remember that we are human.

I am warm, direct, compassionate, and honest. I can be both your cheerleader and your accountability partner — whether that means supporting you through something difficult or gently calling attention to a pattern that may be getting in your way.

If you are looking for a therapist who offers empathy, honest feedback, practical support, and the occasional well-timed joke, we may work well together.

A different path into therapy.

My graduate training is in Sport and Performance Psychology, which gives me a unique lens around motivation, resilience, mindset, performance, accountability, and growth.

Before moving into outpatient therapy, I spent four years working at a residential treatment center with at-risk teens. I later worked as a clinical care manager and life coach, which shaped the way I think about whole-person care, systems, relationships, and the practical realities of change.

This background allows me to bring a broad, grounded perspective to therapy. I understand that people are shaped by their histories, environments, relationships, stressors, and support systems — and that meaningful change often requires both self-understanding and real-life strategies.

Outside The Therapy Space

Kirra is “solar-powered” and happiest when she’s outside. She enjoys all the classic Colorado activities - hiking, paddleboarding, skiing, and just about anything that gets her into nature. A yoga instructor for six years, Kirra continues to incorporate mindfulness and mindful movement into her everyday life.

She loves trying new restaurants and maintains an ever-growing list of places to explore on Google Maps. Traveling is another passion, especially discovering new cities and countries and experiencing different cultures along the way. When she needs to recharge, her favorite forms of escapism are getting lost in a good book or spending time in nature.

Kirra and her husband also have two German Shorthaired Pointers who keep them very busy, very active, and always on the move.
